Role Purpose

The Global Manager - Business Integrations - Freight Forwarding captures, analyzes, and documents system, process, and data requirements from acquired companies to enable their structured integration into DP World's TiaB technology stack. Acting as a bridge between regional business integration, Post-Merger Integration (PMI) teams, and Freight Forwarding management, this role ensures integration decisions are grounded in accurate business requirements and support smooth, low-risk transitions onto group systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Capture and Analysis

• Engage with regional business integration teams across Operations and PMI to understand existing applications, system landscapes, and operational processes.
• Capture and document detailed business, system, and data requirements needed to integrate acquired entities into the core technology stack.
• Conduct and support gap and fit analysis comparing acquired company systems and processes against core group systems, standards, and capabilities.

Documentation and Communication

• Translate captured requirements into clear business requirement documents (BRDs), process flows, and system specifications for technical and solution teams.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and records of requirements, decisions, and integration status for governance and audit purposes.

Stakeholder Management and Planning

• Partner with the PMI community, regional teams, business system owners, Group Tech, and functional stakeholders to validate requirements, priorities, and integration approach.
• Support development of integration plans, migration approaches, and sequencing in collaboration with PMI project leads and technical teams.

Risk and Issue Management

• Identify integration risks, dependencies, and issues early, escalating and proposing mitigation options as needed.

Execution and Support

• Support testing, cutover planning, and go-live activities related to system and process integration workstreams.
• Provide post-integration support, helping resolve issues arising from system or process consolidation.

Continuous Improvement and Leadership

• Contribute to continuous improvement of integration methodology, templates, and best practices across PMI engagements.
• Serve as a visible role model and ambassador of DP World's values, leadership behaviours, safety standards, and Code of Conduct.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Technology.
• Proven experience in business integrations and post-merger and transformation activities.
• Strong understanding of operational and finance-related activities in Freight Forwarding.
• Good knowledge of market leading TMS (Transportation Management Systems) and supply chain visibility applications.
