Role Purpose

Support GIS projects by collecting, processing, analyzing, and visualizing geospatial data while managing geodatabases, creating professional maps and reports, and collaborating with project and technical teams to deliver spatial solutions that meet client requirements and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Data Collection & Management

• Collect, organize, validate, and maintain geospatial and attribute data.
• Manage and update geodatabases and GIS datasets.
• Work with vector and raster datasets from multiple sources.
• Support field data collection and integration when required.
• Ensure GIS data complies with project standards, specifications, and quality requirements.

Spatial Analysis & Processing

• Perform spatial analysis, geoprocessing, data conversion, and data quality checks.
• Perform coordinate system transformations and ensure spatial data accuracy.
• Support data integration between GIS platforms and other enterprise systems.

Mapping & Visualization

• Create professional maps, dashboards, and GIS-based reports according to project requirements.
• Assist in developing and maintaining GIS applications and web maps.

Documentation & Support

• Prepare GIS documentation, reports, and technical deliverables.
• Provide technical support for GIS-related project activities.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate with internal teams and clients to understand GIS requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geomatics, Geography, Surveying, Geospatial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of relevant GIS experience.

Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge of Esri ArcGIS Pro and/or ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Experience with spatial analysis, geoprocessing, map production, and geodatabase management.
• Understanding of coordinate systems, projections, and spatial data formats.
• Familiarity with Web GIS concepts and applications.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Good communication skills in Arabic and English.
