Role Overview

General Technician at Hilton, responsible for maintaining the hotel's physical safety and functionality while delivering memorable guest experiences.

Role Purpose

Ensure the hotel's physical infrastructure operates safely and effectively across all areas, from guest rooms to back-of-house operations, while responding promptly to maintenance requests and guest needs.

Key Responsibilities

Facility Maintenance

• Maintain hotel facilities to ensure physical functionality and safety of the property, including guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-house areas.
• Perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and masonry repairs and maintenance across various areas.

Service Request Management

• Respond quickly to guest calls and team member work orders.

Preventive Maintenance

• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to regularly inspect facilities and equipment and identify maintenance needs.

Documentation

• Document maintenance activities by recording completed inspections and repairs.
• Flag any issues requiring further attention.
