Role Purpose

Provide efficient and professional maintenance support throughout the hotel, ensuring all equipment, facilities and systems are maintained in excellent working condition to provide a safe and comfortable environment for guests and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Repairs

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance works in guest rooms, public areas, back of house areas and other hotel facilities
• Attend to maintenance requests, breakdowns and repairs in a timely and professional manner
• Perform general maintenance duties including basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry and painting works as required

Inspection & Safety

• Inspect equipment and facilities regularly and report any defects or potential safety concerns to the Engineering Supervisor or Chief Engineer
• Follow all hotel safety procedures, engineering standards and preventive maintenance schedules to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the property

Operations & Organization

• Ensure that all tools, equipment and work areas are properly maintained, organized and kept in safe working condition

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in a 5-star hotel
• Good knowledge of general hotel maintenance
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry and painting works
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures
• Exposure to hotel opening is an advantage

• Ability to respond efficiently to maintenance requests
• Good communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting skills
