Role Overview

General Practitioner - Russian Speaking at SEHA Hospitals, SEHA Clinics.

Role Purpose

To provide comprehensive general medical care to patients, manage clinical documentation and investigations, support clinical teams, and maintain adherence to organizational policies and protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care & Patient Management

• Diagnose and treat a wide variety of illnesses using established clinical protocols.
• Review results of all investigations and modify treatment in a timely manner with approval of the Consultant or Specialist physician.
• Oversee preparation of patients for procedures and surgery, including obtaining informed consent.
• Liaise with other medical specialties and support services for additional input as required.

Documentation & Administration

• Document all relevant clinical information accurately, clearly, and in a timely fashion in accordance with established protocols.
• Oversee the organization of tests, chase and record results.
• Participate in the organization's performance management system, including peer review and the productivity and utilization review processes.
• Assume other administrative duties as requested by senior physicians.

Team & Organizational Support

• Supervise and support Interns as determined by the Consultant Physician.
• Participate in committees and working groups as requested.
• Understand, support, and adhere to all established initiatives, policies, and procedures as requested.

Qualifications & Experience

• Medical degree and successful completion of a residency and internship.
• State license and certification to practice medicine.
• Knowledge and experience in diagnosing and treating a wide variety of illnesses.
