Role Overview
General IT Services GM at Abdul Latif Jameel. This role provides analysis, design, configuration, testing, implementation, documentation, and staff training for newly developed software modules and day-to-day operational support for Parts Application.

Role Purpose
To provide comprehensive technical analysis, software development, configuration, testing, implementation, and operational support for Parts Application systems. The role ensures high-quality, high-performance application software while delivering day-to-day troubleshooting and user support across all wholesale dealers and business centers.
Key Responsibilities
Analysis & Requirements
- Perform analysis and make necessary recommendations in areas requiring high-level technical competency.
- Identify and document all business, technical, and process requirements working with business clients.
- Prioritize and rationalize requirements to help define acceptance criteria for solution completion.
- Analyze business requirements, study impact of enhancements, and develop required modules.
Design & Development
- Design, document, and code program logic and system flow documentation.
- Perform complex programming and development tasks for newly developed software modules.
- Develop key business processes and activities of relevant users, data models, and system design.
- Define cross-functional and technical requirements, disaster recovery planning, interim business processes, and data conversion requirements.
Testing & Implementation
- Arrange full testing of new modules and take user acceptance.
- Pilot newly developed modules with close monitoring of activities and data analysis.
- Ensure application software is of high quality and high performance in compliance and architecture.
- Deploy modules in production environment through change management procedure.
Support & Training
- Provide technical training, guidance, and prepare SOPs for business clients and end users.
- Ensure full awareness of application users on new enhancements in application functions.
- Receive calls from users and wholesale clients related to problems in supporting applications.
- Clarify raised issues and find solutions for application users.
Ongoing Operations
- Provide application support and enhancements to existing applications for all wholesale dealers.
- Monitor and provide online support during month-end activities in all centers.
- Day-to-day troubleshoot issues related to application users and resolve them.
- Maintain high availability in responding to business-critical issues within the SLA.
Project Management
- Prepare and review detailed project plans and impact analysis.
- Monitor project progress and ensure successful execution.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Techniques.
- Twenty-five years of experience on application development and maintenance on AS400 Systems.
- Experience with RPG400/ILERPG programming.
- Developed different modules for supply chain operations, material handling applications, and warehouse operation control.
