General Foreman – Civil with Group AMANA in the UAE, responsible for supervising and coordinating daily civil construction activities, managing multiple work crews, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, timelines, and budget.

Role Purpose

Supervise and coordinate civil construction site operations, manage multiple work crews, monitor progress and quality, enforce safety and quality procedures, resolve work-related issues, and support the technical evaluation and development of site personnel.

Key Responsibilities

Supervision and Crew Coordination

• Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities across multiple work crews.
• Coordinate with planners and schedule work for multiple construction crews.
• Resolve issues and conflicts that arise between crews of different trades.
• Train and develop junior staff members.

Progress Monitoring and Quality Assurance

• Monitor progress and quality of work across different areas.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and budget.
• Prepare and submit site activities progress reports to Project Management.

Safety and Quality Compliance

• Enforce and communicate safety measures and quality control procedures to subordinates.
• Ensure that work is completed in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.

Stakeholder and Technical Coordination

• Coordinate with planners, engineers, and project managers.
• Communicate regularly with project managers and stakeholders.
• Assist engineers in the technical evaluation of workers on site.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma, Technical Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Civil or Construction-related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in construction.
• At least 3 years in supervisory or foreman role.
• Experience working on commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
