GENERAL COST SENIOR ANALYST

Role Overview

General Cost Senior Analyst at Napco National.

Role Purpose

Report, analyze, and provide financial insight on operational metrics, budgets, forecasts, and business performance to support strategic decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Metrics

• Report and analyze Operational Metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Planning & Strategy

• Create, update and maintain financial forecasts including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Assist in financial budgeting and forecasting activities for the various Business Units and departments of the organization.
• Compare financial results against budgets and forecasts, performing variance analysis to explain differences in performance.

Budget & Business Plan Preparation

• Support the Sites and Executive leadership in the preparation of the Budget and the Business Plan by providing all needed data and figures along with technical assistance.

Financial Modeling & Analysis

• Compile and analyze data and trends related to income, expenses and cash flow.
• Analyze business and financial results, providing insight and analysis to support the business in making strategic decisions.

Financial Reporting

• Assist in preparation of regular reports and presentations reviewed by senior management and the company's Board, including monthly and quarterly P&L variance analysis against budget and forecast.
• Review results with accounting, FP&A, and business management.
• Conceptualize and develop summary charts and tables enabling the consumption of larger amounts of data.

Compliance Obligation

• Execute actions within scope of activity to comply with legal requirements.

Project Management

• Execute assigned actions related to projects for proper implementation.
