Gaming Porter - Public Area at Wynn Al Marjan Island, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.

Company Overview

Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE, set to open in 2027, located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges and bars, a theater, a beach club, multiple swimming and wading pools, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.

Role Purpose

Maintain the casino and public areas of the resort to exacting five-star standards, ensuring cleanliness, guest comfort, and operational excellence while providing courteous service and support to guests and team members.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning and Maintenance

• Clean and tidy the casino to exacting five-star standards according to a strict schedule.
• Immaculately clean casino public areas.
• Periodically deep-clean public toilets and offices, dust ceilings, air ducts and other hard-to-reach places and fixtures.
• Maintain cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners and mops, and return in good condition at the end of the shift.
• Report maintenance issues and equipment defects to Supervisor.
• Relocate and rearrange furniture as directed.

Guest Service

• Politely greet guests.
• Address guests' requests and handle complaints promptly and to their satisfaction.
• Inform management about guests' comments.
• Act as toilet or cloakroom attendant when required.

Operations and Compliance

• Report for duty on time, maintaining proper uniform standards and name identification as required.
• Report lost and found items and turn over to the Supervisor.
• Know and understand all the resort's facilities and services.
• Assist and perform duties assigned by the Supervisor.
• Interact with Department and Company Team Members, management, and contractors professionally and positively.
• Adhere to the Company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct.
• Remain well-mannered and well-groomed as per Department and Company standards.
• Follow health and safety standards and strive for constant improvement to avoid health and injury hazards.
• Participate in the Company recycling program and follow a strict discipline to reduce, reuse and recycle wherever possible.

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma, vocational training and/or one year work experience.
• Previous hotel experience in Public Areas is advantageous.
• Previous experience in an integrated gaming resort is required.
• Experience in a luxury hotel or resort setting.

Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge of the proper use of detergents, floor maintenance, cleaning chemicals, equipment and machines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Highly adaptable, efficient, detail-oriented, responsible, and dependable, with a strong memory, positive attitude, and consistent work ethic.
• Physically fit, able to stand for long periods and reach high areas.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
