Role Overview
American International University Kuwait seeks to hire a Full Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor of Marketing. The role is based in Kuwait and reports to the Department of Business Administration.
Role Purpose
To lead and advance marketing education, research, and faculty leadership within the Department of Business Administration, contributing to the academic mission and professional development of students in the marketing discipline.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Curriculum
- Develop and deliver undergraduate and graduate marketing courses according to departmental standards and accreditation requirements.
- Design and refine course content that reflects current marketing practices and research.
- Mentor students in marketing research, case analysis, and professional development.
Research & Scholarship
- Conduct and publish original marketing research in peer-reviewed journals.
- Contribute to the advancement of marketing knowledge in the discipline.
- Supervise student research projects and theses.
Department & Faculty Leadership
- Participate in faculty meetings and departmental governance.
- Serve on departmental and university committees as assigned.
- Contribute to curriculum development and program improvement initiatives.
- Support faculty collaboration and interdisciplinary initiatives.
Student Services
- Provide academic advising to marketing majors and minors.
- Hold regular office hours for student consultation and support.
- Participate in student recruitment and admission activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- PhD or equivalent terminal degree in Marketing or related field.
- Evidence of strong teaching experience and commitment to student development.
- Record of scholarly research and publication in peer-reviewed outlets.
- Prior experience in higher education teaching at the university level.
