Fulfillment Team Leader

Role Overview

Fulfillment Team Leader at Majid Al Futtaim, MAF Retail, Hypermarket UAE.

Role Purpose

Execute day-to-day fulfillment operations including picking and marshalling activities, liaise with store teams to ensure customer satisfaction with online services in terms of freshness, quality, and order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

• Manage daily e-commerce fulfillment operations, including picking, packing, and handover to the last-mile team.
• Maintain dark store organization, stock adequacy, cleanliness, and proper cold-chain and goods segregation standards.
• Guarantee on-time dispatch, accurate delivery quantities, proper packing, and quality control to prevent damages and losses.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Ensure smooth coordination across operations, commercial, IT, customer service, and last-mile delivery functions.

Problem Solving

• Identify, evaluate, and resolve logistics, operational, and system process challenges.

Team Leadership & Development

• Implement performance management, attendance monitoring, and disciplinary actions in line with company standards.
• Develop team capabilities through mentoring, on-the-job training, and coordination with HC for training needs and staffing adequacy.

Policy & Process

• Contribute to the development and implementation of MAF Retail policies, procedures, and operational best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in E-commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in logistics and supply chain operations.
• Hands-on experience in e-commerce fulfillment and last-mile delivery (preferred).
• Strong operational and commercial knowledge with experience in cross-functional environments.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in warehouse/distribution systems and computer applications including MS Office, advanced Excel, SAP, and Salesforce.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full professional proficiency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
