Role Overview
ABIS is seeking a Forklift Operator to join its logistics and operations team. The role is based in Saudi Arabia.
Role Purpose
Operate forklifts to load, unload, move, and stack materials safely and efficiently within warehouses, construction sites, and other operational areas while maintaining adherence to safety standards and ensuring smooth workflows through team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Operations
- Operate forklifts to transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, shelves, and storage areas.
- Stack materials in designated storage areas.
Maintenance & Compliance
- Inspect forklifts regularly and perform routine maintenance checks.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements and equipment inspections.
Coordination
- Coordinate with warehouse staff and other personnel to optimize workflow.
Qualifications & Experience
- Valid forklift operator certification or license preferred.
- Proven experience as a forklift operator in warehouse, construction, or industrial settings.
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of safety regulations and safe operating practices.
- Physical ability to operate machinery and handle materials safely.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Attention to detail.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Additional Information
- Saudi Arabia preferred for location.
