Role Purpose
Play a vital role in warehouse operations by safely and efficiently handling goods, executing receiving processes, and ensuring optimal inventory management to support store operations across the retail network.
Key Responsibilities
Material Handling & Operations
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to handle, transport, and organize goods within the warehouse environment
- Execute receiving and order picking processes with high accuracy to ensure timely stock availability for stores
- Prepare and coordinate warehouse operations to support order fulfillment and store replenishment
Inventory Management
- Maintain inventory data integrity by following established guidelines and documentation procedures
Team & Safety
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals while adhering to IKEA operational standards and safety protocols
- Commit to health, safety, and security standards with ability to identify and prevent workplace hazards
Qualifications & Experience
- Valid forklift certification
- Proven experience operating material handling equipment
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics procedures, and inventory management systems
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
