Role Overview

FOREMAN E&I at NMDC Group. The E&I Foreman reports to the General Foreman (E&I) assigned to the Project.

Role Purpose

Establish short-term priorities and objectives for electrical and instrumentation work, including allocation of workforce, tools, and equipment. Direct control of construction crews to ensure timely execution of E&I installation activities in line with project schedules and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Workforce Management

• Direct control of up to 40 productive personnel and up to 4 supervisory personnel including Chargehands and Sr. Technicians.
• Allocate workforce, tools, and equipment based on project requirements and priorities.

Supervision & Productivity

• Supervise and control the productivity and efficiency of assigned construction crews.
• Establish short-term priorities and objectives using discretion.

Coordination & Liaison

• Liaise with the E&I General Foreman to ensure timely availability of Installation work procedures, approved Construction drawings, project materials, and Equipment necessary for execution of works.
• Coordinate with other Departments, Sections, and Subcontractors to ensure smooth performance of E&I works.
• Conduct site liaison to facilitate integration with adjacent project activities.

Reporting

• Report to the E&I General Foreman on physical progress measurements on a weekly basis.
• Submit work progress reports subject to review by Superior.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation, or E&C from an accredited university (full-time).
• 8 years of experience in installation of Electrical, Instrumentation, and Telecom equipment in the Oil & Gas Industry.
• Construction Operations Management industry-related experience.
• Oil and Gas/Offshore Operations background.
• Oil and Gas/Site Construction background.
