Food & Beverage Manager at Accor, Alwadi Hotel Doha, Qatar.

Role Purpose
Lead and oversee the hotel's Food & Beverage operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences, high service standards, and strong financial performance while inspiring and developing the Heartists team.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, manage, coach, and develop the Food & Beverage team to deliver exceptional service and operational excellence.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management of Heartists.
- Lead by example, fostering a positive, collaborative, and performance-driven working environment.
Operations & Service Delivery
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple Food & Beverage outlets, ensuring smooth and efficient service across all areas.
- Personally lead and oversee F&B catering and high-volume operations, maintaining a strong presence on the floor and ensuring operational excellence.
- Ensure all Food & Beverage outlets consistently deliver exceptional guest experiences in line with luxury hospitality and brand standards.
- Conduct regular operational and service inspections to ensure cleanliness, presentation, service standards, and brand compliance are consistently maintained.
Performance & Quality Monitoring
- Monitor service quality, guest satisfaction, productivity, and operational performance while ensuring compliance with hotel policies and brand standards.
- Handle guest feedback, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring effective resolution and maintaining guest loyalty.
Financial Management & Strategy
- Take ownership of F&B financial performance, including P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and achieving departmental targets.
- Monitor food and beverage costs, labour costs, inventory, purchasing, and wastage to ensure effective cost management.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue, profitability, guest satisfaction, and overall F&B performance.
Interdepartmental Coordination & Compliance
- Coordinate closely with the Kitchen, Housekeeping, Front Office, Engineering, Sales & Marketing, and other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, food safety, and other applicable hotel standards and regulations.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement initiatives to enhance service quality, operational efficiency, and financial results.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in Food & Beverage, including Restaurant Manager/General Manager experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Assistant F&B Manager or F&B Manager in charge.
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in the Middle East/GCC, preferably Dubai or Doha.
- Previous experience in a 5-star luxury and large-scale operation is preferred.
- Proven experience managing multiple outlets, catering, and high-volume operations.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong passion for luxury hospitality, guest engagement, and service excellence.
- Hands-on and operationally driven, with strong floor presence.
- Strong knowledge of P&L, budgeting, cost control, and F&B financial performance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding and implementation of luxury and brand standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and F&B/POS systems is an advantage.
