Role Purpose

The Food & Beverage Attendant delivers friendly, attentive, and professional service to guests while ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The role supports daily restaurant operations, maintains cleanliness and service standards, and contributes to guest satisfaction in line with the hotel's luxury hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service

• Welcome guests warmly and assist them with seating and dining arrangements.
• Present menus, explain food and beverage selections, and provide recommendations when required.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and ensure timely service.
• Serve food and beverages according to hotel service standards and procedures.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, concerns, and special dietary requirements.
• Promote menu specials and additional offerings to enhance the guest dining experience.
• Handle guest bills and payments accurately when assigned.

Restaurant Operations & Maintenance

• Prepare and maintain restaurant tables, service stations, and dining areas before, during, and after service.
• Ensure tables are properly set with clean cutlery, glassware, crockery, and other required items.
• Assist with buffet setup, replenishment, clearing, and breakdown when required.
• Monitor supplies and report shortages, damaged equipment, or maintenance concerns to the supervisor.

Cleanliness, Hygiene & Safety

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the restaurant, equipment, and service areas.
• Follow HACCP, food safety, personal hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Follow hotel grooming standards, service procedures, and health and safety policies.

Coordination & Support

• Coordinate with the Kitchen and other F&B team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Perform other duties assigned by the F&B Supervisor or Assistant F&B Manager.
