Role Overview

Food and Beverage Supervisor at DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island, Hilton. The role is based at the resort property.

Role Purpose

Supervise Food and Beverage outlet operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while working with the team to ensure departmental targets are met.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience

• Deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing friendly, professional, and attentive service to guests, proactively anticipating their needs and creating memorable dining experiences.
• Manage guest requests by responding promptly and professionally to guest enquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.

Operations

• Supervise Food and Beverage operations by overseeing the day-to-day operations of Food and Beverage outlets, ensuring smooth service delivery and compliance with Hilton brand standards.
• Execute events successfully by planning, coordinating, and supervising breakfasts, coffee breaks, lunches, dinners, cocktail receptions, banquets, and other special events.
• Oversee event breakdown by ensuring function rooms are cleared efficiently and all equipment is stored correctly, leaving venues ready for future events.
• Maintain compliance and safety by ensuring adherence to food safety, hygiene, sanitation, alcohol awareness, health and safety, fire, and security regulations at all times.

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with departments by communicating event requirements, operational updates, and service expectations with the Food and Beverage team and other hotel departments to ensure seamless execution.
• Promote teamwork by building strong working relationships across departments and providing support wherever needed to ensure smooth hotel operations.

Leadership & Development

• Lead and develop the team by supervising daily team activities, allocating tasks, preparing schedules, providing coaching, supporting training, and conducting performance reviews to develop a high-performing team.
• Demonstrate a demonstrated ability to coach, train, and develop team members.

Business Performance

• Support business performance by assisting management in achieving departmental financial goals through effective cost control, productivity, and operational excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience in a Food and Beverage supervisory role, preferably within the hotel or hospitality industry.
• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field is preferred.
