Role Overview
Food and Beverage Attendant position at NH Collection Dubai The Palm, located in Dubai. Role Purpose
To provide friendly, professional, and efficient Food & Beverage service to guests while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and guest satisfaction in accordance with hotel standards.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service
- Welcome and greet guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
- Provide attentive and efficient Food & Beverage service in accordance with hotel standards.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests.
- Communicate guest feedback, special requests, and concerns to the Supervisor or Manager.
Order and Service Delivery
- Present menus, take guest orders accurately, and provide recommendations when required.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure correct presentation.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of menus, ingredients, promotions, and available products.
- Promote menu items and support upselling opportunities.
- Process guest bills and payments accurately in accordance with hotel procedures.
Operations and Maintenance
- Prepare tables and service areas before, during, and after operations.
- Ensure tables, equipment, and service areas are clean, organized, and properly maintained.
- Assist with opening and closing duties and other operational requirements as assigned.
Coordination and Compliance
- Coordinate effectively with Kitchen, Bar, Stewarding, and other team members to ensure smooth service.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and hotel procedures at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in a Food & Beverage, restaurant, bar, or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Food & Beverage service standards is preferred.
- Passion for hospitality and delivering excellent guest service.
Skills & Competencies
- Friendly, positive, and professional attitude.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Well-groomed with a professional appearance.
