Role Purpose
Provide friendly, professional, and efficient Food and Beverage service to guests while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and guest satisfaction in accordance with hotel standards.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service
- Welcome and greet guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
- Provide attentive and efficient Food and Beverage service in accordance with hotel standards.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests.
- Communicate guest feedback, special requests, and concerns to the Supervisor or Manager.
Menu and Order Management
- Present menus, take guest orders accurately, and provide recommendations when required.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of menus, ingredients, promotions, and available products.
- Promote menu items and support upselling opportunities.
Service Execution
- Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure correct presentation.
- Process guest bills and payments accurately in accordance with hotel procedures.
Operations and Maintenance
- Prepare tables and service areas before, during, and after operations.
- Ensure tables, equipment, and service areas are clean, organized, and properly maintained.
- Assist with opening and closing duties and other operational requirements as assigned.
Coordination and Safety
- Coordinate effectively with Kitchen, Bar, Stewarding, and other team members to ensure smooth service.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and hotel procedures at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in a Food and Beverage, restaurant, bar, or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Food and Beverage service standards is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Passion for hospitality and delivering excellent guest service.
- Friendly, positive, and professional attitude.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Well-groomed with a professional appearance.
