Role Overview

Flight Dispatch Trainee at flydubai. This is a structured training position in flight dispatch operations.

Role Purpose

To undergo comprehensive on-the-job training in flight dispatch operations under the supervision of experienced personnel, gaining practical experience in flight dispatch functions, developing operational knowledge, and building the competencies required to support safe and efficient flight operations.

Key Responsibilities

Training & Development

• Undergo structured on-the-job training in flight dispatch operations under the supervision and guidance of experienced flight dispatch personnel.
• Participate in familiarization sessions with other Network Control Centre (NCC) functions to gain comprehensive understanding of NCC operations and interdepartmental processes.
• Perform supplementary dispatch duties as assigned to gain practical experience and develop foundational knowledge and skills in flight dispatch operations.

Operations & Coordination

• Assist in coordinating with Meteorological and Air Traffic Services (ATS) offices to support dispatch operations and ensure timely exchange of operational information.
• Support dispatchers by gathering, verifying, and providing required operational data from various sources, including web-based platforms, internal departments, and operational reports.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the Network Control Centre team, subject to operational requirements and workload.

Projects & Compliance

• Assist with dispatch-related projects and initiatives by performing assigned tasks under supervision, contributing to operational efficiency and professional development.
• Adhere to company policies, operational procedures, and safety standards while completing training assignments and daily responsibilities.
• Read and comply with Information Security and Records (ISR) policies of the company and diligently report any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team.
• Complete all required ISR awareness sessions and follow associated guidelines in day-to-day business operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma.
• 0–2 years of experience (with or without relevant qualifications).
