Flexcube Developer for Bahrain

Role Overview

Flexcube Developer for Bahrain with VAM Systems, a Business Consulting, IT Solutions and Services company operating in UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, USA, Australia, Singapore, and India. The selected candidate will be based in Bahrain.

Role Purpose

Develop, integrate, and maintain Flexcube 12.x core banking systems and related applications, including report generation, dashboard creation, and interface development for banking and finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

Integration & Interfacing

• Integrate and interface external systems with Flexcube 12.x core banking system.
• Develop Flexcube Web Services.
• Support interfacing systems and online transactions.
• Apply knowledge of ATM interfacing technologies.

Reports & Dashboards

• Develop reports and dashboards for MIS and customized reporting.
• Create data-driven reports using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE).
• Design and deliver reports and dashboards through OBIEE tool.

Application Development

• Develop software applications with a mix of GUI and server-side development.
• Perform front-end GUI design and development.
• Maintain, debug, and solve problems of existing applications.
• Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing action plans, and identifying areas for modification and improvement.

Technical Design & Documentation

• Create innovative technical design and technical specifications.
• Create technical documentation that shares knowledge effectively.
• Analyze business requirements for estimating development efforts and documentation.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Perform unit testing and integrated system testing.
• Develop test cases and perform test scenarios.
• Support and participate in code reviews, by and for peers.

Database & Infrastructure Management

• Manage databases for Oracle and Microsoft SQL.
• Use Oracle Web Logic Server including the queuing mechanism for Flexcube notifications.

Project Management

• Plan projects and manage tasks and responsibilities.
• Apply standard security measures throughout processes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years' experience as a developer with ASP.NET/VB.NET technologies.
• Experience in Banking and Finance sectors.
• FLEXCUBE 12.x knowledge and database experience.
• Experience in developing reports and dashboards through Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) tool.
• Experience in using Oracle Web Logic Server including the queuing mechanism for Flexcube notifications.
• Experience in Flexcube Web Services.
• Knowledge of SWIFT Standards and Messaging.
• Knowledge of ATM interfacing technologies.

• FLEXCUBE database and FLEXCUBE Interface Development.
• Oracle OBIEE report development.
• .NET experience.
• OBIEE reports development.

• SQL Server and Oracle database management.
• Self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented, and responsible team player.
• Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment and quickly learn new concepts and software.
• Understanding of the full development life-cycle.

Contract Details

• Joining timeframe: 1 month.
• Selected candidates shall join VAM Systems – Bahrain and shall be deputed to one leading bank in Bahrain.
