Role Overview
Flexcube Developer for VAM Systems' Bahrain operation. The selected candidate will join VAM Systems – Bahrain and be deputed to one of the leading banks in Bahrain.

Role Purpose
Develop, integrate, and maintain banking software solutions using Flexcube 12.x and related technologies. Support core banking system interfaces, reporting infrastructure, and application enhancements for a leading Bahraini financial institution.
Key Responsibilities
Flexcube Integration & Development
- Integrate and interface external systems with Flexcube 12.x core banking system.
- Develop Flexcube Web Services.
- Create technical design and technical specifications for Flexcube solutions.
Reporting & Analytics
- Develop reports and dashboards for MIS and customized reporting.
- Create data-driven reports using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) tool.
- Develop Oracle OBIEE reports.
Application Development
- Develop software applications with a mix of GUI and server-side development.
- Design and develop front-end GUI interfaces.
- Perform unit testing and integrated system testing.
- Develop test cases and perform test scenarios.
Maintenance & Support
- Maintain, debug, and solve problems in existing applications.
- Support and participate in code reviews, by and for peers.
- Manage databases for Oracle and Microsoft SQL.
Analysis & Enhancement
- Analyze business requirements for estimating development efforts and documentation.
- Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing action plans, and identifying areas for modification and improvement.
Documentation & Planning
- Create technical documentation that shares knowledge effectively.
- Plan projects and manage tasks and responsibilities.
- Apply standard security measures throughout the processes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 2+ years' experience as a developer with ASP.NET/VB.NET technologies.
- Experience in FLEXCUBE 12.x knowledge and database experience.
- Experience in developing reports and dashboards through Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) tool.
- Experience in using Oracle WebLogic Server including the queuing mechanism for Flexcube notifications.
- Experience in Flexcube Web Services.
- Knowledge of SWIFT Standards and Messaging.
- Experience in the Banking and Finance sectors.
- Experience in interfacing systems and online transactions.
- Experience in ATM interfacing technologies.
- Knowledge in FLEXCUBE interfaces development.
- .NET experience.
Skills & Competencies
- Proven ability in front-end GUI design and development.
- Solid understanding of the full development life-cycle.
- Skills for creating and delivering data-driven reports.
- Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment and quickly learn new concepts and software.
- Self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented, and responsible team player.
- Proficiency in Visual Studio, ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#/VB.NET.
- Oracle OBIEE report development.
- Knowledge in IBM MQ systems.
- Microsoft SharePoint Development and Administration.
- Experience with jQuery or similar technologies.
- Experience in Mobile application development.
Additional Information
- Joining timeframe: 1 month.
- Contract type: Full-time deputation to a leading bank in Bahrain.
