Role Overview
Fleet Coordinator - Site at ABIS. This position manages and oversees the daily operations of the company's vehicle fleet at project sites.
Role Purpose
Coordinate vehicle allocation, ensure timely maintenance, monitor driver performance, and maintain accurate fleet records. The role supports site management to optimize fleet utilization while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Fleet Operations
- Coordinate and schedule the deployment of fleet vehicles to meet project and operational requirements.
- Manage driver assignments and monitor driver performance.
- Coordinate with suppliers and service providers for any fleet-related needs.
Maintenance & Records
- Monitor and ensure timely maintenance and servicing of all fleet vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, maintenance, and inspections.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and relevant transportation laws.
Reporting
- Generate regular reports on fleet operations and performance metrics.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in fleet management or coordination, preferably in the construction or oil & gas industry.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency with fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices and safety standards.
- Valid driving license (advantage).
