Role Overview
Fish Monger at Majid Al Futtaim, MAF Retail, Hypermarket UAE.
Role Purpose
Prepare fish products in line with the section's operating standards and hygiene control procedures. Weigh, package, and display fish for retail sale.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation & Processing
- Wrap, weigh, label, and price fish cuts accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare, cut, and portion fish according to company standards and customer requests.
- Properly operate, clean, and sanitize fish preparation tools and equipment.
Display & Merchandising
- Arrange and maintain attractive fish displays following the defined presentation guidelines.
Customer Service
- Assist customers with product inquiries in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
- Promote additional products and stay informed about ongoing promotions and offers.
Food Safety & Compliance
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations throughout daily operations.
- Identify, segregate, and dispose of damaged, spoiled, or expired fish products daily.
Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Basic English reading, writing, and interpretation skills.

- Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities.
- Ability to adapt and work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Excellent listening skills with high attention to detail.
