Role Overview
Financial Controller for the Real Estate division at Al Futtaim, based in Cairo. This role ensures robust financial governance, compliance, and operational excellence across the real estate portfolio.

Role Purpose
To establish and maintain financial governance, accounting policies, and internal controls aligned with IFRS and Al Futtaim standards. To provide strategic financial insights that support decision-making and drive financial and operational performance across the Real Estate business.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Policy & Standards
- Establish and maintain accounting policies and procedures aligned with IFRS and Al Futtaim standards.
- Serve as the primary authority on complex accounting judgements and interpretations.
- Lead impact assessments of new and amended accounting standards.
- Ensure consistent implementation of accounting standards across operations.
Governance & Controls
- Oversee fixed assets management, internal controls, and accounting policy compliance across all finance operations.
- Establish and manage internal control frameworks and governance standards.
Financial Leadership & Strategy
- Provide strategic financial insights and analysis to support decision-making.
- Drive financial and operational performance across the Real Estate business.
- Lead finance teams and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar senior finance role within real estate or comparable industries.
- Deep knowledge of IFRS standards and complex accounting judgements.
- Strong expertise in establishing and managing internal control frameworks and governance standards.
- Demonstrated ability to lead finance teams and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
