Role Overview

Role Purpose

Examine and evaluate financial records to ensure accuracy and adherence to accounting standards and company policies. Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis and Examination

• Examine and analyze financial records, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct audits and provide independent assessments of financial information, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Risk and Control Assessment

• Assess internal controls and identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in financial processes.
• Identify risks within financial operations and systems.

Reporting and Documentation

• Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings, recommendations, and action plans.
• Recommend improvements and best practices to strengthen financial processes and controls.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with the finance team and other departments to resolve financial issues and implement effective solutions.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on financial processes and controls.

Compliance and Governance

• Stay updated on industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance.
• Assist in developing and implementing internal audit policies and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics in handling sensitive financial information.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial auditing or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional certification preferred.
