Finance Manager at Visa, based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Oman (KBO) region.

Role Purpose
The Finance Manager collaborates closely with the Finance and Client Facing organization to provide financial business support. The role oversees financial planning, financial analysis, reporting, financial risk management, and financial modelling, while reviewing client deals and business cases to support budget, forecast and multi-year growth plans, drive efficiencies, and enable client deal structuring and approval processes.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
- Produce key business drivers such as volumes and transactions for use in strategic planning, annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting.
- Analyze volume trends and product mix between international and domestic markets.
- Proactively identify development areas in designated markets and provide financial support to market development strategy.
- Support pricing and interchange discussions concerning covered markets, including analysis of impacts on client profitability.
- Manage ad hoc, monthly, quarterly and yearly analysis of market and client trends for supported departments and GCMs.
- Provide support in revenue management and investment decision-making.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to meet or exceed internal customers' expectations.
Incentives and Contracts
- Develop deal models for clients in covered markets ensuring alignment with business needs and internal governance and compliance requirements, including preparation of deal approval documents.
- Review incentive deal proposals with geo and functional teams, providing feedback to optimize risk-adjusted returns and recommendations to senior leadership on financial viability and execution risks.
- Maintain detailed deal tracking for all executed deals in covered markets, providing management with real-time performance analysis.
- Provide financial analysis for forecasting contra-revenues and challenge sales teams to obtain realistic projections for existing and new deals.
- Conduct deal reforecasting on a monthly and quarterly basis and during budget process.
- Collaborate with Legal, Client Contract Management, Controlling and other internal stakeholders to ensure GCC client incentive contracts are executed efficiently, properly accounted and meet internal governance and compliance requirements.
Expense Management
- Proactively manage cross-functional and geography expense planning with financial leadership in forecast and budget processes for the markets.
- Track monthly performance and understand variances across managed areas.
- Provide advisory and guidance to cost center managers regarding approved budgets, forecasts and commitment to budget and forecast on a continuous basis.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to exceed customer expectations and promote a professional finance organization.
- Implement strategies to prevent and resolve bad debts.
Compliance and Governance
- Ensure deals and approval-to-spend requests are captured, recorded, summarized and reported in compliance with policies and procedures.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency of information with organized documentation of all financial assumptions, results and data sources.
- Provide guidance to business partners on approved budgets, forecasts and their commitment to budget and forecast on a continuous basis.
Qualifications & Experience
Education and Professional Background
- Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, accounting, mathematics, economics or related quantitative field.
- At least 5 years post-qualification experience in finance.
- Degree in Accounting or professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis and modelling in challenging and complex scenarios.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills with ability to resolve tough business problems through well-structured analyses.
- Proven expertise in modelling techniques and managing large data sets.
- Attentive to detail, highly organized and focused on quality of output.
- Fluent in written and spoken business English.
- Proficiency in local languages is advantageous.
- Familiarity with the cards business and revenue streams is a plus.

Additional Information
- Reports to the KBO Head of Finance.
- Visa requires at least 3 days in office; expectations for these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
