Role Overview

Finance Manager at Honeywell Technologies. The role is based in the META region and provides financial leadership and oversight across the service and software business.

Role Purpose

The Finance Manager is responsible for providing financial leadership and oversight across the service and software business, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, cost control, and margin optimization. The role partners closely with operations and commercial teams to support decision-making, manage project risks, and drive financial discipline across the life cycle of projects. The Finance Manager ensures strong governance, cash flow management, and compliance across the META region while contributing to the achievement of profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Ownership & Business Leadership

• Own overall financial responsibility for Honeywell technology businesses across the META region, covering Orders, Revenue, Gross Margin, and Working Capital.
• Demonstrate high degree of business acumen and quickly grasp business models and key business drivers to lead the growth agenda.
• Develop strong relationships with business and commercial leaders in the region to become a trusted business partner.

Planning & Forecasting

• Coordinate and lead financial forecasting for the business, including weekly pulse meetings to discuss latest forecasts, risks with mitigation plans, and opportunities with action plans.
• Lead the annual planning process (AOP) for the region and the monthly financial review.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis to determine business trends and provide decision support with financial information.
• Partner with business teams to understand deals, drive forecast accuracy, and establish path to achieving quarterly and annual targets.

Cash Flow & Collections Management

• Drive cash flow improvement initiatives for the region.
• Liaise with collections team to understand root causes of receivables past dues and drive timely resolution with business teams.
• Work closely with regional and global supply chain leadership to drive regional revenue, ensuring robust processes and KPIs, including past due tracking.

Governance & Compliance

• Play the role of financial advisor and business advocate while maintaining compliance to financial controls, policies, and principles.
• Review general accounting activities and ensure books are closed in compliance with accounting rules and policies.
• Work with regional and global controllers to maintain financial governance standards.

Escalation & Coordination

• Utilize partners to handle escalations for the META region and liaise with global businesses where necessary to ensure coordination and alignment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree; MBA or other applicable postgraduate degree desired.
• Ten or more years of Finance experience.
• Project accounting and commercial knowledge.
• MEA regional knowledge and experience.
