Field Specialist V - Lower Completions Operations

Role Overview

Field Specialist V - Lower Completions Operations at Weatherford UAE. The role is based in the field and workshop environments across lower completions operations.

Role Purpose

Lead field operations and supervise the team to ensure proper installation, repair, and routine servicing of remedial service packers, lower completion tools, equipment, and other rental assets in both workshop and field settings.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Service Delivery

• Perform installation services for lower completion equipment including sand screens and open hole packers.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on company-owned rental equipment in the field as needed.
• Assist in the shop and make deliveries when available.
• Be available on a 24-hour call basis to respond to customer needs.

Technical Operations

• Calculate basic oil industry volumes, pressures, and forces accurately.
• Understand different facets of field operations including completions, remedial workovers, cementation, and fracturing.
• Work effectively on pulling units and drilling rigs.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure accurate and thorough completion of job reports on a timely basis.
• Know and understand the Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures, and Workplace Instructions.
• Understand and comply with all Weatherford safety rules and company policies.
• Ensure work assignments are carried out to the highest quality standards.

General Operations

• Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by the supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

Qualifications & Experience

• 7–10 years of related field experience, primarily in Lower Completion Operations; Upper Completion Operations experience is preferred.
• High School Diploma minimum; Engineering Degree preferred.
• General product knowledge.
• Mechanical aptitude necessary to perform equipment repairs.
• Valid driver's license.
