Role Overview
Field Specialist - Coiled Tubing at Baker Hughes. This role is part of the Pressure Pumping Team, operating advanced oilfield equipment in field environments.

Role Purpose
Operate and monitor coiled tubing units and associated equipment at wellsites to the highest quality standards while maintaining strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies. Deliver accurate operational data and ensure safe, efficient execution of coiled tubing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Equipment Monitoring
- Operate and monitor coiled tubing units, injector heads, reels, and control systems.
- Monitor real-time parameters including depth, weight, pump rates, and pressure.
- Work under own initiative to meet the production schedule of the plant.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform pre-job inspections and function tests on equipment.
- Conduct pressure testing of equipment.
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
Site Management
- Assist in rig-up and rig-down at the wellsite.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification.
- Maintain a safe working environment for crew and equipment.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies and procedures.
- Record job data and provide reports to clients.
- Ensure all operational data is accurate and compliant.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum high school diploma; Bachelor in Engineering preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience supervising coiled tubing jobs.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a field specialist or field engineer in coiled tubing operations.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in nitrogen pumping.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in oilfield services.

- Ability to work in a team.
- Ability to operate under own initiative.
