Role Overview
Field Services Engineer, Western Region at Stryker, based in the Western region (Jeddah/Medinah). This is a field-based role with 90% travel.
Role Purpose
Provide technical support, maintenance, and repair services for Stryker's Medical and Emergency Care product portfolio to internal and external customers across the Western region.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot company products and provide technical support to internal and external customers.
- Escalate opportunities and issues through appropriate channels.
Servicing & Maintenance
- Undertake servicing, repairing, and preventive maintenance of company products to required standards.
- Ensure all related procedures are followed.
- Fulfil Service Contracts with planned Preventive Maintenance visits.
- Ensure timely follow-up on all tickets and work orders.
Installation & Testing
- Perform installation, setup, and upgrades on company products as required.
- Undertake testing of company products and provide fully completed test and service reports.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Work with appropriate support functions and customers to schedule customer visits.
- Stay up to date on compliance and legal aspects related to the role on an ongoing basis.
Qualifications & Experience
- Engineering background: Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical preferred; Biomedical or Telecommunications accepted.
- 3 years of relevant experience.
- Fluency in both spoken and written technical and medical English and local language.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Computer skills and literacy.
- Basic IP Networking knowledge (preferred).
