Role Overview
Field Service Engineer MEAT & CIS at Leica Microsystems (Danaher), based in Saudi Arabia, working remotely to cover MEAT & CIS regions.

Role Purpose
Ensure quick resolution of complex customer challenges while empowering team members with functional knowledge. Contribute to business growth across Life Science, Applied, and Medical segments beyond service delivery, operating as a change agent to sustain effective processes and standard work.
Key Responsibilities
Installations, Repairs & Maintenance
- Perform advanced installations, advanced repairs, and preventive maintenance on microscopy systems and related equipment.
- Demonstrate technical expertise in repair, calibration, maintenance, and upgrade of microscopy systems.
Channel Partner & Team Support
- Work closely with MEAT & CIS Channel Partners to support their training, installation, and repair cases.
- Provide informal guidance to junior team members.
- Extend support in complex situations by proactively sharing knowledge.
Business Implementation & Growth
- Support business implementation and readiness plans through project planning and management.
- Create work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Prepare and execute action plans for growth through service revenue generation in MEAT & CIS.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Network, influence, and communicate effectively across functions and at all levels.
- Collaborate with team members at the point of impact and across the organization.
Qualifications & Experience
- Demonstrated technical expertise in repair, calibration, maintenance, and upgrade of microscopy systems and related equipment.
- Proficiency in a range of products from a single or multiple product groups.
- Advanced expertise in at least two complex products from a product group.
- Training and/or coaching experience.
Skills & Competencies
- Networking, influencing, and communicating effectively across functions and at all levels.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization, building relationships remotely and cross-culturally (preferred).
- Track record of delivering standardization, simplification, and continuous improvement across key business areas (preferred).
