Role Purpose

To undertake on-site commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of legacy installed commissioned fired equipment while fostering strong local relationships with end users. You will ensure customers receive exceptional service and support on cutting-edge combustion and fired equipment across the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries.

Key Responsibilities

Commissioning & Installation

• Conduct on-site commissioning of legacy and retrofit equipment.
• Supervise installation activities on Zeeco combustion products and systems.
• Start up and maintain Zeeco's combustion products and systems, including flare systems, flare gas recovery, boiler burners, process burners, thermal oxidizers, vapour recovery systems, and associated pollution and optical control equipment.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Perform general maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault analysis on fired equipment.
• Identify and resolve technical issues independently and collaboratively.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS) and site visit reports.
• Maintain timesheets for submission to clients.

Site Operations & Training

• Supervise on-site turnaround and outages contracts.
• Deliver training in classroom and on-site settings to end-user personnel.

Business Development & Safety

• Identify potential opportunities for additional aftermarket spares and site service support through service and commissioning activities.
• Adhere to Company and customer Health and Safety Policies.
• Promote a safe working environment at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in combustion within the oil, gas, or petrochemical industries is compulsory.
• Valid driving licence required.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong technical background with knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and PLC control systems.
• Experience with PLC programming; Siemens and Allen Bradley advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Good computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with proactive approach to problem-solving and task completion.
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and offshore environments.
• Safety conscious with commitment to safety standards.

Additional Information

• Willingness to travel required; prepare for extensive travel, potentially over 200 days per year.
