Role Overview
Field Operator Level III - Pressure Pumping with Baker Hughes. This role operates coil tubing units and associated equipment during field operations at remote well sites.
Role Purpose
Execute pressure pumping interventions, coil tubing operations, and well site activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety, equipment maintenance, and operational reporting. Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior operators and coordinate seamlessly with field teams to deliver successful job execution.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Equipment
- Operate coil tubing units and associated equipment during field operations.
- Execute pumping, nitrogen lifting, cleanouts, acidizing, and other coil tubing interventions.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of coil tubing strings and pressure control equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on coil tubing equipment.
- Monitor job parameters and report abnormalities to the Supervisor.
Field Execution
- Assist in rig-up and rig-down operations at well sites.
- Coordinate with field supervisors, engineers, and other crew members for smooth job execution.
- Maintain accurate job reports, logs, and operational records.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times.
- Comply with all company HSE policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
- Report hazards, near misses, and incidents immediately.
- Identify operational risks and take corrective actions when required.
- Demonstrate leadership in safety and operational excellence.
Training & Mentorship
- Provide mentorship and on-the-job training to Level 1 and Level 2 Operators.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Coil Tubing operations.
- Proven experience in well intervention and coil tubing services.
- Strong knowledge of coil tubing equipment, pressure control, and pumping systems.
- H2S and First Aid certifications are preferred.
