Company Overview

Baker Hughes operates a 24/7 Remote Operations Team responsible for real-time support to drilling and evaluation operations. The remote drilling team manages remote sites, provides technical support, processes service requests, and continuously improves procedures and ways of working across the organization.

Role Purpose

Provide real-time monitoring, technical support, and evaluation of Logging While Drilling (LWD) product portfolio and associated software to prevent and minimize non-productive time for customers while ensuring safe and efficient drilling operations.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Monitoring

• Provide real-time monitoring and evaluation of drilling and well parameters to complete operations in a safe and efficient manner.
• Collect and ensure both surface and downhole data are stored in the database.
• Participate in managing job cycle activities to proactively impact service delivery.

Technical Support & Deliverables

• Prepare required deliverables based on collected operational data.
• Provide technical support for the assigned LWD product portfolio and associated software when required.

Team Development

• Mentor junior engineers to raise competencies by developing specific processes and procedures.

Compliance & Standards

• Conduct all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, code of conduct, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geology, or Earth Sciences.
• Minimum three years of experience in Drilling Services.
• Previous Baker Hughes experience preferred.
• Solid background and knowledge across a broad range of downhole drilling, evaluation tools, and services.

• Proven ability to recognize, analyze, and solve technical issues.
• Process-oriented working style.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written in English.
• Ability to work effectively in a 24/7 service environment.
