Role Purpose
As a Field Engineer II - WLE, you will provide completions logging services and technical support at the workshop and wellsite, maintaining equipment and customer relations while executing all work safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Well Operations
- Assist in providing completions logging services at the workshop and wellsite.
- Provide a record of all assemblies as run at the wellsite to the Customer Representative.
- Work with Customer Representative and drill crew on location on routine matters at the rig.
- Execute all required responsibilities as described in Managing Well Operations manual.
Equipment & Logistics
- Conduct minor maintenance of equipment.
- Execute all required responsibilities as described in Managing Equipment and Logistics manual.
Safety, Compliance & Operations
- Execute all required responsibilities safely and as described in Managing Base Operations manual.
- Conduct all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies and Legal Compliance requirements.
- Conduct all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes Core Values.
Customer & Stakeholder Relations
- Promote and maintain good customer relations.
General Duties
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- University Degree in Engineering or Applied Science required.
- 1 or more years' experience with completion of required learning activities in Phase 2 of the LEAD Field Engineer Development Program.
- Experience in Wireline Services required.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficient in running less complex, lower risk jobs in primary product line.
- Ability to apply downhole hydraulics principles.
- Ability to correctly use product line and application-specific calculations.
- Ability to work and communicate well with others.
- Expand product line knowledge and expertise.
