Role Purpose

To assist the Field Control Manager as deputy manager at construction sites, designing and providing recommendations for construction control management planning, scheduling, cost requirements, and forecast development. The role requires ability to estimate costs and schedule construction activities while managing risks and maintaining overall project progress.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Scheduling

• Plan, organize, and supervise schedule resource loading and leveling for construction projects.
• Forecast management performance and direct the making and evaluating of construction status reports.
• Maintain steady progress of total construction and develop strategy to reduce overall cost.
• Instruct construction personnel and track progress of construction operations including arrival and utilization of materials, supplies, tools, machinery, equipment, and vehicles.
• Follow all manpower allocations as compared to monthly plans.
• Understand and operate Primavera for project schedule control and resource distribution across activities.

Cost Management

• Supervise project construction cost budgets.
• Coordinate and establish scoping requirements for overall cost estimates by discipline or specialty.
• Prepare or review indirect cost estimates, developing basis for temporary facilities, miscellaneous construction services, construction tools and equipment, and start-up services.
• Calculate final construction cost of the project.
• Delve into Construction Cost Management and investment investigation factors.

Risk Management & Compliance

• Review cost, schedule and contract activities to define current and potential risks.
• Figure out risk mitigation strategy.
• Identify and solve elements of construction likely to give rise to disputes and claims.
• Maintain knowledge of legal issues and safety standards.

Procurement & Coordination

• Coordinate timely, systematic, and complete acquisition of scope definition and related data.
• Conduct meetings with relevant departments and subcontractors.
• Review subcontractor project control requirements.
• Coordinate inter-department activities.

Operations & Support

• Support Field Control Manager to set up and execute field control procedures and work processes on assigned projects.
• Take good care of miscellaneous construction records and document control.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Applied Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Construction experience in Gas/Petrochemical EPC Plant field.
• Cost and Schedule Management experience is mandatory.
• Field Control Coordinator experience (Cost, Schedule, Contract) from other companies preferred.
• EPC Contract experience preferred.
• Experience from various sites in the Middle East area preferred.
