Role Overview
F&B Service Expert at Marriott, located in Miami and Bal Harbour.
Role Purpose
Deliver memorable and unique guest experiences through attentive food and beverage service. The Guest Service Expert takes initiative across all aspects of dining service—from table setup and guest interaction to kitchen communication and area maintenance—ensuring every transaction feels part of a curated experience.
Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery
- Deliver a wide range of services to ensure guests enjoy their meal.
- Interact with and serve guests throughout their dining experience.
- Take a hands-on approach to all assigned work.
Operations & Setup
- Set tables according to service standards.
- Manage the menu by reading and visually verifying information.
- Clean work areas and supplies.
Kitchen & Coordination
- Communicate with the kitchen to support timely and accurate service.
Workplace Standards
- Create and maintain a safe workplace.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Uphold quality standards in all duties.
- Maintain professional uniform, personal appearance, and communications.
Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Less than 1 year of related work experience preferred.
- No supervisory experience required.
Additional Information
- Candidates must be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods on sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Capacity to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Willingness to perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
