F&B Service Expert

Role Overview

F&B Service Expert at Marriott. This is a guest-facing hospitality position focused on delivering memorable dining experiences through attentive service, table management, and seamless coordination between guests and kitchen operations.

Role Purpose

Create a memorable and unique dining experience for guests by taking initiative to deliver a wide range of services, ensuring every interaction—from table setup through meal service to bill settlement—feels like part of a cohesive, high-quality experience.

Key Responsibilities

Service Delivery

• Set and prepare tables for guest service.
• Interact with and serve guests throughout their meal.
• Communicate guest needs and special requests to the kitchen.
• Manage menu information and communicate options to guests.

Operations & Maintenance

• Clean and maintain work areas and supplies.
• Handle and manage objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Move, reach, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects as needed during service.
• Work on standing, sitting, walking, and moving over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces for extended periods.

• Maintain a safe workplace at all times.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Uphold quality standards in all service interactions.
• Ensure uniform, personal appearance, and professional communications.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: Less than 1 year of related work experience preferred.
• Supervisory Experience: None required.
• License or Certification: None required.

Additional Information

• Position requires extended periods of standing, sitting, and walking.
• Must be able to bend, twist, stoop, and reach overhead and below knee level.
