F&B Captain at InterContinental Doha Beach & Spa (Fa Evax Saasfaprod1), located in Doha, Qatar.

Role Purpose
Oversee the smooth and efficient operation of food and beverage outlets to ensure guests enjoy a memorable and high-quality dining experience while maintaining exceptional service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operations
- Coordinate daily operations of the F&B team to ensure exceptional service standards are consistently met.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the restaurant, bar, and banquet facilities.
- Manage guest reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and maximize guest satisfaction.
Team Leadership
- Lead by example, providing guidance and motivation to the team to achieve operational excellence.
Guest Experience
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any special requests, concerns, or feedback in a prompt and professional manner.
- Ensure smooth communication between kitchen and service teams to guarantee timely delivery of food and beverages.
Compliance & Administration
- Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and hygiene standards, following company policies and local regulations.
- Collaborate with the F&B Manager/Supervisor to manage inventory, stock levels, and ordering of supplies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in a similar role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
- Previous experience in a high-end or fine dining environment is an advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage service standards, operations, and health and safety regulations.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic or additional languages is a plus.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Positive attitude and professional appearance at all times.
