Role Overview

Food & Beverage Attendant at InterContinental Muscat, part of IHG Hotels and Resorts, located in Muscat. This position is open to female candidates only.

Role Purpose

Ensure high-quality food and beverage service in our dining outlets by delivering exceptional guest experiences through efficient service, anticipating guest needs, and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service

• Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take guest orders accurately.
• Ensure guests have memorable dining experiences.
• Anticipate guest needs throughout their visit.

Order Management

• Relay orders accurately to the kitchen and bar.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly to guests.

Table Setup and Maintenance

• Arrange table settings to hotel standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas.
• Ensure tables are ready for the next guests.

Food and Beverage Preparation

• Assist in the preparation of beverages including coffee and cocktails.
• Support basic food preparation as needed.

Inventory Control

• Manage food and beverage supplies.
• Restock supplies as needed.

Payment Handling

• Process guest payments accurately.
• Ensure all transactions are handled properly.

Health and Safety Compliance

• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Maintain a safe dining environment.

Problem Resolution

• Address guest complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in food and beverage service in hotels, restaurants, or serviced residences is preferred.
• International luxury hotel chain background is preferred.
• GCC exposure is preferred.
• Knowledge of food and beverage standards, hygiene, and safety practices.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• English fluency is required.
• Arabic fluency is preferred.
• Professional appearance and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
