Facility Supervisor

Role Overview

Facility Supervisor at Retal. The role oversees daily operations of all facility services, managing both hard and soft services while ensuring compliance with regulations and service quality standards.

Role Purpose

To ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of all facility services—including maintenance, utilities, housekeeping, security, and contractor management—while supporting sustainability and emergency preparedness.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Maintenance

• Oversee daily operations of all facility services (hard and soft).
• Supervise maintenance activities (preventive and corrective) for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire systems, and civil works.
• Conduct routine inspections; identify issues and ensure timely corrective actions.

Service Management

• Manage soft services (hospitality, housekeeping, security, pest control, landscaping, etc.) to ensure service quality standards.
• Coordinate and monitor contractors and service providers; ensure compliance with contracts and HSE requirements.
• Manage and track service requests via CAFM/helpdesk; ensure timely closure.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and Civil Defense regulations.
• Support energy efficiency, sustainability, and emergency response activities.

Administrative & Financial Management

• Maintain records, logs, and prepare operational reports.
• Monitor stores, inventory, and supplies; report on status.
• Process Purchase Requests and Good Receipts Notices through Oracle System.
• Follow up on Purchase Orders and payments for service providers and suppliers.

Planning & Optimization

• Manage office spaces planning, optimization, and updates.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Facilities Management.
• 4–6 years of experience in facility management.
• Proven experience in managing both hard and soft services.
• Experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments (preferred).
• Good command of English language.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong technical knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems, civil works, and building operations.
• Solid understanding of soft services management.
• Leadership and team supervision skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management.
• Familiarity with CAFM systems (e.g., IBM Maximo).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of Saudi regulations (Civil Defense, HSE, etc.).
