Role Overview
Facility Maintenance & Repair Supervisor at V2X, physically located in Kuwait in support of WEXMAC on Camp Arifjan.

Role Purpose
Manage daily maintenance operations of the Main Communications Facility (MCF) in support of the LCV contract. Provide technical and operational guidance and supervision to teammates and subcontract personnel to ensure compliance with the performance work statement (PWS) for operation and maintenance, infrastructure, utilities, and preventive and corrective maintenance. Support capabilities include electrical, HVAC, plumbing, access control/CCTV, power generation, and fire detection/suppression.
Key Responsibilities
Safety & Compliance
- Provide a safe and secure workplace.
- Conduct training on life, safety, health and other programs.
- Ensure knowledge of U.S. Army Safety Guidelines and OSHA Standards.
- Comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
Coordination & Communication
- Ensure consistent communication and coordination with ASG-KU DPW and the Communications Battalion.
- Provide reports on all life, safety, health, quality, and maintenance issues.
Supervision & Leadership
- Set the example for respect, responsibility and integrity.
- Support the Facilities Operations & Maintenance Manager with subcontractor oversight, human resources, and creating a positive environment that is fair, inclusive and ethical.
- Inspire and motivate employees by recognizing achievement.
- Counsel, coach and mentor team members.
- Monitor all operations of the Facilities Maintenance staff.
Operations & Maintenance
- Provide technical and operational guidance to ensure compliance with the PWS while delivering results.
- Conduct and oversee the preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- Evaluate all maintenance requests, set priorities, and process work assignments.
- Prepare daily and monthly work schedules for staff.
- Maintain all maintenance records.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (one year related experience may be substituted for one year of education).
- 7-10 years of facilities maintenance experience with 3-5 years working with Johnson Controls Metasys Building Management Systems.
- 5-7 years of experience planning, laying out, and installing electrical distribution in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Working knowledge of electrical systems including secondary distribution and interior systems.
- Hands-on experience with electrical circuits, power cables, controls, motors, and related equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints, single-line diagrams, and rough shop drawings.
- Strong knowledge in a skilled trade such as electrical, HVAC, or plumbing.
- Ability to analyze the operation of various infrastructure systems, determine the cause of problems and malfunctions, and take corrective actions as required.

Additional Information
Security & Citizenship
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- U.S. Government-issued Secret Security clearance or higher required.
Working Conditions
- Work is generally conducted inside a secure, access and climate-controlled, permanent structure.
- Duties may occasionally involve exposure to extreme temperatures.
- Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working in areas where exposure to physical, chemical or biological agents is possible.
- Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations, including head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
