Role Overview
Extrusion Sheet Line Machine Operator (Plastic) at ABIS. The role is based in a manufacturing facility where you will operate extrusion equipment to produce high-quality plastic sheets.
Role Purpose
To set up, run, and maintain plastic extrusion sheet line machines that produce polycarbonate sheets, while monitoring machine performance, conducting routine maintenance, and troubleshooting issues to ensure continuous and efficient production.
Key Responsibilities
Operations
- Operate and monitor extrusion sheet line machines to produce plastic sheets for PC (Polycarbonate Sheet).
- Set up machines, including tooling and parameter adjustments, prior to production runs.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team for repairs and preventive maintenance activities.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards during operations.
- Maintain accurate production records and report any deviations or concerns to supervisors.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or equivalent; technical training in plastics processing is a plus.
- Proven experience as an extrusion machine operator in the plastic industry.
- Knowledge of extrusion sheet line machinery and plastic materials.
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Strong attention to detail and quality awareness.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions.
