Expert - Operations Performance

Role Overview

Expert - Operations Performance at AD Ports Group. Support the Projects Development team to deliver key projects by tracking information, monitoring performance and preparing reports.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Delivery

• Develop project plans based on logical framework approaches to ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare reports to monitor project progress and key performance indicators.
• Review and provide advice on operations projects scope of work, deliverables and timelines.
• Create and update Master Schedule for Projects with due dates to track deliverables including metrics and challenges.
• Ensure proper project documentation including all signed off paperwork and track deliverables.

Operations Monitoring & Performance

• Monitor the performance of projects and operations while adhering to project KPIs and delivery timelines.
• Perform metrics reporting and data analysis to identify issues and opportunities for process business improvements.

Compliance & Governance

• Carry out audit requirements to ensure compliance to Policies, Strategies and Procedures.
• Participate in identifying and reporting work-related hazards and risks and report HSE observations, near misses and incidents.

Stakeholder Management

• Meet with stakeholders, understand needs and resolve issues to maintain smooth operations.
• Participate as key player on assigned projects and represent business unit in multi-division projects.
• Interact with equipment and infrastructure services suppliers for timely delivery of projects.
• Interact with customers and their representatives to support projects development strategies and execution plans.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• Project Management certificate is highly desired.
• Knowledge of ISO and IMO standards.
• Minimum 6–8 years of experience in a similar role.
• Handling of operations projects and cargo handling knowledge is required.
• Prior experience in project reporting and analysis.
• Previous experience working in the Port and Maritime sector with hands-on knowledge of ports operations and infrastructure development.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent English.
• Arabic is an added advantage.
• Ability to work in 24×7 operating environment.
