Role Overview

Executive Buying - Buying Furniture Concept at Home Centre, JAFZA, UAE. Landmark Group.

Role Purpose

Support the Buying team across all functions, from sales and stock planning through to in-season analysis and cross-departmental coordination. Ensure inventory aligns with forecasts, delivery timelines are met, and data-driven decisions drive sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Stock Planning

• Prepare sales and stock plans in conjunction with buyers.
• Support forecasting to predict how many of each item will sell, by color and size.
• Support control of stock levels based on forecasts for the season.

Data Management and Analysis

• Maintain a comprehensive library of sales data and history.
• Support Buyers in analyzing previous season sales and reporting on current season lines.
• Prepare reports on sales statistics and prepare sales projections.
• Produce spreadsheets and graphs to identify sales trends or patterns.

Stakeholder Liaison

• Liaise with Buyers, Merchandise Planners, Stores and Suppliers.
• Liaise with other departments within the organisation to ensure projects are completed on time.

Supply Chain and Delivery

• Adhere to critical paths to ensure products are delivered on time.

Market Intelligence

• Maintain awareness of competitors' performance.

Team Support

• Provide support to the Buying team including Buyers and Assistant Buyers.

Qualifications & Experience

• 1–3 years' relevant experience in the Home Retail Industry.
