Role Overview
Executive Driver position at ADIB, based in Abu Dhabi. The primary duty is to transport the Group Chief Financial Officer and other passengers to and from destinations in a comfortable, safe, and efficient manner.
Role Purpose
Provide safe, reliable, and professional transportation for senior executives, maintaining vehicle standards and managing all logistics associated with executive travel while ensuring comfort and punctuality.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics and Travel Management
- Consult maps and navigation devices to plan desired routes before each trip.
- Check radio, online traffic reports, and weather forecasts for departure and destination locations.
- Advise the Global Head of Compliance of potential or existing adverse conditions.
- Suggest alternative routes or travel time adjustments based on conditions and traffic.
Vehicle Maintenance and Readiness
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and mechanical soundness to ensure immaculate appearance at all times.
- Check engine fluids, inspect interior and exterior components, and verify electrical and mechanical systems.
- Monitor tire pressure and maintain adequate fuel levels.
- Schedule service appointments for mechanical work and scheduled maintenance.
- Facilitate professional washing and detail work.
- Arrange vehicle transport to and from service facilities.
- Procure suitable alternate vehicles when needed during maintenance.
Professionalism and Conduct
- Maintain managed and courteous behavior in all driving and non-driving situations.
- Uphold good grooming, personal hygiene, and clean proper dress as instructed by the employer.
- Remain calm and rational under stressful conditions, language, and gestures.
- Follow instructions and requests without argument or complaint.
- Refrain from commenting, engaging in, or joining passenger conversations without permission.
- Maintain sobriety and full functionality at all times while on the job, on call, or before scheduled shifts.
Qualifications & Experience
- Valid UAE driving license.
- Minimum one year of experience as a driver in UAE.
- Minimum one year of experience in public relations work in UAE.
Skills & Competencies
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
- Knowledge of UAE locations, other banks, postal departments, and government offices.
