Role Purpose
Lead social and corporate catering events, including guest room bookings, while managing sales, event logistics, and guest service to maximize revenue and deliver exceptional experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Sell and manage social and corporate catering events, including guest rooms, banquet food and beverage, and upsell contracted groups.
- Generate new business through solicitation, networking, and follow-up with past clients.
- Conduct site tours for prospective clients and facilitate client meetings as needed.
- Monitor budgets, sales quotas, and revenue opportunities; implement strategies to increase catering revenue during low-demand periods.
Event Management & Coordination
- Negotiate contracts, suggest menus, and coordinate room setups according to policy and client needs.
- Finalize and distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and maintain accurate event records.
- Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure flawless event execution and guest satisfaction.
- Lead pre-event, on-site, and post-event communications to ensure service excellence.

Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience in catering sales, hotel convention services, banquet management, hotel sales, or culinary arts, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Guest-focused with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
