Role Overview
Event Manager (Sport Projects) at MIRA Construction, based in Dubai with hybrid work arrangements and on-site execution.
Role Purpose
Drive offline events through their complete lifecycle, from concept development and budget planning through to final financial reporting. Manage a dynamic portfolio of sports events, real estate activations, and corporate events with full ownership and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Concept & Budget Development
- Craft creative event concepts aligned with project objectives.
- Develop detailed program schedules and transparent budgets.
Production & Vendor Management
- Source and coordinate vendors for all event components.
- Manage stage and booth build-ups, audio-visual production, merchandise, and catering.
- Oversee production logistics and vendor performance.
On-Site Management
- Secure necessary permits and manage venue relationships.
- Execute seamless operations on event days.
- Lead on-site team and ensure event delivery against plan.
Post-Event Reporting
- Deliver post-event analytics and performance insights.
- Reconcile costs against budget and manage final financial reporting.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience managing diverse offline events.
- Experience with sports events, real estate events, or broker events preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Fluent English (B2/C1 level minimum) for communication with local and international vendors and partners.
- High proactivity and strong self-organization.
- Stress resilience and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Passion for the events industry and drive for professional growth.
