Role Overview

German International School Dubai seeks engaged teachers for Secondary Level II (Grades 11–12) beginning August 2026. The position combines Ethics as the primary subject with a minor subject in Chemistry, Physics, German, French, or preferably English. Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Role Purpose

Deliver high-quality instruction in Ethics and a designated minor subject to upper secondary students, while contributing actively to school governance, committees, and extracurricular programming.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Instruction

• Teach Ethics and the selected minor subject (Chemistry, Physics, German, French, or English) to Secondary Level II students.

School Engagement

• Participate in school committees and governance structures.
• Engage actively in extracurricular events and school-wide initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Teaching certification (Lehrbefähigung) for Secondary Level II.
• Second State Examination (2. Staatsexamen) — mandatory requirement.

Additional Information
